Three key things we learned from Tuchel’s pre-Leeds press conference

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel spoke at a press conference on the eve of his side’s vital game against Leeds United.

The match is certainly a vital one for both teams, with Jesse Marsch’s side battling against relegation and the Blues trying to secure a Champions League place.

Here are three key things we learned ahead of the big game at Elland Road…

Tuchel has told his players to expect a hostile crowd

“Tough match, touch crowd. It’s almost like do or die (for Leeds) – like a cup match for them. The atmosphere will be like this. I’m looking forward to it. It will be a big fight and I think the atmosphere will tell you what’s going on and we will feel it straightaway, so we need to step up.”

Chelsea hope to have N’Golo Kante and Jorginho back – but it’ll tight

“We’re fighting for Jorgi and we’re fighting for N’Golo for tomorrow. But it will be close and I don’t know if we’ll make it.”

Tuchel has not met Todd Boehly – or have a meeting with him scheduled

“Absolutely not. Maybe if I had, I would not tell you! But I do not have so I don’t need to lie.”
