Conte reportedly looking to bring in up to six players

Tottenham boss Antonio Conte reportedly wants Leicester City midfielder and Middlesbrough defender Djed Spence, who is on loan at Nottingham Forest.

Tottenham boss Antonio Conte is reportedly looking to bring in up to six players this summer.

The Daily Telegraph reports that Conte is set for talks with chairman Daniel Levy and will make it clear he believes the squad needs an overhaul despite some encouraging results during the second half of the season.

The newspaper say Leicester’s Belgium midfielder Youri Tielemans is high on the list of targets as Conte looks to turn Spurs into contenders for silverware.

The Daily Mail run a similar story, linking Spurs with a possible move for 21-year-old right-back Djed Spence, who has been outstanding for promotion-chasing Nottingham Forest while on loan from fellow Championship club Middlesbrough.

Dejan Kulusevski is expected to sign on a permanent deal following his loan spell and the Mail also say Gleison Bremer and Christian Eriksen are possibilities and that Harry Winks could be among those shipped out.

Former Tottenham midfielder Eriksen, whose short-term contract at Brentford expires at the end of the season, continues to be linked with a return to north London.

A number of other clubs have been linked with the Dane, who has been outstanding since joining the Bees, helping them move well clear of the relegation zone.
