Arsenal linked with Silva and Rodriguez

Arsenal have reportedly made an approach to Eintracht Frankfurt for striker Andre Silva.

It comes amid speculation over the future of Alexandre Lacazette, with reports suggesting the Gunners striker could be among players to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer.

According to The Transfer Window Podcast, Portugal international Silva has been identified as a potential replacement for the Frenchman.

Silva is currently with the Portugal squad at Euro 2020 and there have been reports in Germany and his homeland that he could be involved in a big-money move this summer.

Those reports have suggested that Silva could be available for around £34m during this transfer window.

Arsenal have also been linked with Real Betis midfielder Guido Rodriguez.

The Argentina international has been linked with several European clubs in recent months, with Betis reportedly willing to sell.

And Spanish newspaper Marca has claimed that Arsenal are currently favourites to snap him up.

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta is known to be keen to bolster his midfield options, with Wolves star Ruben Neves seemingly the top target.

New signings are expected, with a number of departures likely in order to balance the books.

Roma are looking to sign Granit Xhaka and there is uncertainty over the futures of the likes of Lacazette, Hector Bellerin and goalkeeper Bernd Leno.
