Paper round-up: Arsenal and Chelsea chasing Eredivisie star

Arsenal and Chelsea are reportedly among clubs interested in Ajax forward David Neres Campos.

His performances in the Dutch Eredivisie have attracted interest from several clubs and he has been tipped to move this summer.

The Sun say Arsenal and Manchester United are battling to sign the 22-year-old Brazilian and that there is also interest from Chelsea and Everton.

Meanwhile, the Daily Mail reports that on-loan Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez is struggling with a persistent groin injury and that this could put his proposed permanent move to the Emirates Stadium in doubt.

The Daily Star say Arsenal are interested in young Burnley midfielder midfielder Dwight McNeil.

The 21-year-old signed a new deal earlier this year and is under contract at Turf Moor until 2023.

However, this has not stopped him being linked with clubs – and the Daily Star say Arsenal, Manchester City, Everton and Newcastle are all keen.

Arsenal could trigger a buyback clause to take former Gunners youngster Ismael Bennacr back to the club from Empoli, the Daily Mirror say.

Fulham players want caretaker boss Scott Parker to be given the manager’s job at Craven Cottage, the Daily Mail say.

And Scottish newspaper the Daily Record claim Watford boss Javi Gracia is in the running to take over from Maurizio Sarri at Chelsea this summer.
