Teenage winger Kris Twardek opened the scoring before Northern Ireland youth international Mikhail Kennedy grabbed the equaliser as Millwall and Charlton’s Under-23s drew 1-1 on Monday.
Canadian Twardek, who played the full 90 minutes in the EFL Trophy defeat by Wycombe last week, put the Lions in front on 11 minutes.
The 19-year-old fired home past keeper Ashley Maynard-Brewer, despite the best efforts of the Addicks’ defence.
Millwall held that lead until the break but Kennedy – who made four appearances for the first team last season – levelled five minutes into the second half.
