Huddersfield v Fulham: Whites midfielder back, Terriers star could return

Fulham midfielder Kevin McDonald will return to contention for Monday’s Premier League game at Huddersfield.

McDonald missed Thursday’s Carabao Cup defeat to Manchester City due to suspension after being sent off against Bournemouth last weekend.

Defender Joe Bryan remains unavailable because of a hamstring injury.

Provisional squad: Bettinelli, Rico, Fabri, Christie, Fosu-Mensah, Odoi, Chambers, Mawson, Ream, Le Marchand, Ryan Sessegnon, Seri, Cairney, McDonald, Kebano, Johansen, Cisse, De La Torre, Anguissa, Steven Sessegnon, Schurrle, Ayite, Vietto, Mitrovic, Fonte, Kamara.

Defender Terence Kongolo is among the players who could return to action for Huddersfield.

Terriers boss David Wagner has said it looks as if all his players are in contention apart from midfielder Danny Williams (knee).

Kongolo (hamstring) and Tommy Smith (knee), both missing for the last three matches, have been back in training, as have Rajiv van La Parra and Abdelhamid Sabiri after illness.

Provisional squad: Lossl, Hamer, Smith, Kongolo, Lowe, Jorgensen, Schindler, Stankovic, Hadergjonaj, Durm, Hogg, Bacuna, Billing, Kachunga, Mooy, Diakhaby, Sobhi, Van La Parra, Mbenza, Pritchard, Quaner, Sabiri, Depoitre, Mounie.
