Paper round-up: City linked with Wan-Bissaka

Manchester City are monitoring Crystal Palace’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka, the Daily Mirror say.

Everton were recently linked with the 20-year-old right-back, who has impressed for the Eagles this season.

Now City reportedly regard him as a potential future signing and have been keeping tabs on him.

The Mirror say City have made “a number of discreet enquiries” about Wan-Bissaka.

Meanwhile,The Sun say Palace are lining up a £10m bid for Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck when the transfer window reopens in January.

Welbeck’s contract at the Emirates Stadium is due to expire at the end of the season and he has yet to be offered a new deal.

The Mirror say West Ham want Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek on loan but Blues boss Maurizio Sarri has blocked the move.

The Daily Mail run a similar story, declaring that West Ham will “test Chelsea’s resolve” with an attempt to take Loftus-Cheek on loan despite Sarri indicating that he will not be allowed to leave.

Chelsea are interested in Bournemouth’s in-form striker Callum Wilson, according the Mirror.

And under-pressure Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic believes he will get Sunday’s game against Liverpool to try to save his job, the Mail say.

Monday’s defeat against fellow strugglers Huddersfield left Fulham bottom of the Premier League table.
