‘We’ll see’ – Hazard responds to questions about Chelsea future

Eden Hazard has been facing more questions about his future from the media in his native Belgium.

Hazard has frequently stoked up speculation about his future – often while on international duty – as he continues to be linked with a big-money move to Real Madrid.

His Chelsea contract expires next year and Hazard has spoken publicly about his dilemma over whether to sign a new deal at Stamford Bridge or leave the door open to a potential move to Real.

He has made no secret of his desire to play for the Spanish club and reports have suggested Chelsea will sell him this summer if he does not agree to sign a contract extension.

Reports have also suggested that Zinedine Zidane, who is idolised by Hazard, returning for a second spell as Real boss means the player is much more likely to seek a move to Madrid.

But Hazard was non-committal when asked about his future by VTM News.

He said: “I’m not working on that right now. I want to shine with Chelsea for a few months and try to win the Europa League.

“This week I think about the Red Devils and then back to Chelsea. Then we’ll see.”
