Antonio Conte says Chelsea must continue to be patient with Eden Hazard despite his return from injury in the 2-1 win over Leicester.

The Belgian has been out with an ankle injury but played 16 minutes as a substitute in the victory at the King Power Stadium, having recently made two appearances for his country.

Blues boss Conte said Hazard’s return was “good news”, but remained cautious.

“For sure he needs time to be 100% but I think his recovery is very, very important,” Conte said.

“We know very well the importance of this player. Now we must have patience to give him the possibility to improve his form.

“But I am pleased for him because after a bad injury it is great to see him with us.”
