Chelsea have given short-term academy scholarship contracts to three non-league teenagers and added them to their Under-18 squad.
Left-back Renedi Masampu, 17, was on the books of Isthmian Premier League side Metropolitan Police and had a trial with the Blues in May.
He played for Chelsea’s Under-18s in their win at Aston Villa on Saturday.
An unused substitute in that game was winger Adebambo Akinjogbin, 17, who has also signed. He had been with Brentford and Addlestone-based Abbey Rangers.
Fellow winger Tushaun Walters, also 17, has been affiliated with Millwall’s community and education arm.
