There continues to be speculation over the future of Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil.
The Daily Mirror say Arsenal want to sell the German, who is under contract until 2021, but may struggle to do so.
The newspaper say Arsenal will listen to offers for Ozil, who “has become an outcast under Unai Emery” less than a year after signing a lucrative deal.
The Mirror say Emery has dropped Ozil because he is unhappy with his work-rate and that the Gunners want the player out.
Inter Milan are reportedly interested but the Mirror suggest Arsenal are unlikely to be willing to subsidise his wages in a loan deal and want a sizeable fee to sell him, so could end up keeping him.
The Daily Mail say Arsenal would be willing to send Ozil out on loan and that he is failing to convince Emery he has a future at the Emirates Stadium.
The Times run a similar story, reporting that Arsenal will consider a loan deal after Ozil failed to win the confidence of boss Emery.
Doubts over Ozil’s future increased when he was left out of a much-changed Arsenal side for this week’s Carabao Cup game against north London rivals Tottenham for what Emery described as “tactical” reasons.
Emery subsequently gave non-committal answers when asked if Ozil had a future at the club.
