Bellerin to miss Champions League game

Hector Bellerin will miss Arsenal’s Champions League match against Ludogorets Razgrad along with Theo Walcott, Santi Cazorla and Nacho Monreal.

Bellerin played in Saturday’s 4-1 win against Sunderland, which the other three players missed because of injuries.

None of them have travelled with the Gunners squad to Bulgaria, where Arsenal will be looking to maintain their lead at the top of Group A.

Cazorla and Monreal were not involved when Arsenal trained on Monday morning.

Cazorla has been sidelined with an Achilles injury, while Monreal has a muscular problem.

Walcott has been nursing a hamstring strain and although he did join in the training session, he too has been ruled out of Tuesday’s match.

The fit-again Aaron Ramsey could make his first appearance for Arsenal since suffering a hamstring injury against Liverpool on the opening day of the season.

The Wales international recently returned to full training and was included in the squad for the victory at Sunderland, where he was an unused substitute.

Arsenal, currently second in the Premier League table, face rivals Tottenham at the Emirates Stadium in the north London derby on Sunday afternoon.
