Sunday paper round-up: Arsenal linked with Schick

The Daily Star Sunday have picked up on reports claiming that Arsenal are looking at swapping Aaron Ramsey for Roma striker Patrik Schick in January.

There continues to be speculation over the future of Ramsey, whose Arsenal contract expires at the end of the season.

And reports in Italy have claimed that Roma are keen on Ramsey and that the Gunners are lining up Czech Republic international Schick as a potential signing following the injury to Danny Welbeck.

Meanwhile, Bournemouth could be willing to sell Tottenham target Nathan Ake, The Sun on Sunday say.

Manchester City and Manchester United have also been linked with the former Chelsea defender, who has impressed since joining the Cherries.

The Sun on Sunday say Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe believes Ake could be sold in January or in the summer and that he is keen to line up a replacement.

The newspaper declares that Bournemouth “are set to spark a £40million scramble” for Ake and that interested clubs are aware of his potential availability.

There have been reports that Chelsea have a £40million buy-back option agreed when Ake left Stamford Bridge.

West Ham and Crystal Palace are keen on Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke, The Sun on Sunday also say.

The newspaper say Liverpool are prepared to let the former Chelsea youngster leave Anfield on loan.

Palace and the Hammers, who are both looking for striker, are said to be interested in taking Solanke back to London.

The Sunday Express say West Ham could offload Javier Hernandez in January if manager Manuel Pellegrini is happy to let him go.

The Sun on Sunday also say Spurs and Arsenal are both interested in Phil Jones but that Manchester United will extend his contract.

The Sunday Express say Juventus defender Daniele Rugani, who has been linked with Chelsea and Arsenal, is taking English lessons ahead of a potential move to London.
