Arsenal have confirmed the signing of Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for a club-record fee.
The Gunners are reported to have paid £56.1m to sign the Gabon forward.
Arsenal have not disclosed the length of the 28-year-old’s deal, simply stating it is “a long-term contract”.
Aubameyang arrives at the Emirates having scored 98 goals in 144 Bundesliga games for Dortmund.
Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi is set to replace Aubameyang at Westfalenstadion.
He has flown to Germany for a medical ahead of a loan deal, which will pave the way for Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud to move to Stamford Bridge.
