Arsenal scout Boa Morte reportedly impressed by midfielder

Arsenal scout Luis Boa Morte has sent back a glowing report after watching FC Porto midfielder Danilo, according to O Jogo.

The Portuguese sports newspaper claim Arsenal have been “a frequent presence” at Porto matches and say former Gunners striker Boa Morte was at their game with Sporting on Saturday.

Danilo’s latest contract runs until 2022 with O Jogo suggesting he has a €60m release clause.

Alexis Sanchez has once again been linked with a move away from Arsenal, this time to Paris Saint-Germain.

The Daily Mail say the French giants are hoping to lure Sanchez from the Emirates and Sergio Aguero from Manchester City.

And according to The Sun, Sanchez’s future may depend on whether the Gunners qualify for next season’s Champions League, with the Chile forward currently stalling on a new contract.

There is also speculation over the future of Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, which the Daily Mirror believe will be of interest to Arsenal and West Ham.

It is claimed both clubs enquired about Lacazette last summer before he signed a new deal.

And the Mirror, picking up on a report in French newspaper L’Equipe, suggests the 25-year-old is now keen to leave, but has a release clause of £60m.

Meanwhile, Arsenal and Tottenham are both said to be watching Blackpool teenager Bright Osayi-Samuel.

The Daily Express say the two London clubs have been keeping tabs on the 19-year-old since last summer, while the Birmingham Mail claim Aston Villa are also tracking him.

He has played 27 times for the League Two side this season and is out of contract in the summer.
