Arsenal have been linked with Dominic Solanke following news that the young forward is set to leave Chelsea.
The Sun reported on Friday that Solanke, 19, was set to join Liverpool.
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte subsequently confirmed that Solanke, whose contract expires this summer, looks likely to leave Stamford Bridge.
And Metro have since picked up on speculation that Arsenal could move for the youngster.
Meanwhile, Arsene Wenger and Alexis Sanchez are both set to walk away from Arsenal following their Champions League humbling at the hands of Bayern Munich, according to the Daily Mirror.
Although Gunners boss Wenger told German TV station ZDF he will make a decision on his future in “March, April, probably”, it has not stopped reams of speculation.
The Mirror says those in charge at the club have already made “discreet enquiries about potential replacements” as they are expecting the Frenchman to turn down a new contract offer.
And any new manager might have to do without star man Sanchez, with Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain said to be keen on exploiting the Chilean’s reported unhappiness.
The Sun adds that Sanchez apparently “let rip at team-mates” in the wake of their 5-1 defeat at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday.
The striker was pictured flying out of Heathrow Airport on Thursday, with The Guardian reporting that he has been given leave and won’t play in Monday night’s FA Cup tie at Sutton United.
There is also further speculation over the future of his team-mate Lucas Perez.
The Mirror, adding to an earlier report on Goal.com, say the Spanish striker is “confused” as to why he hasn’t been given an extended run in the team.
He joined Arsenal from Deportivo La Coruna last summer and has scored six times in 17 appearances for the Gunners.
