Chelsea, Arsenal and West Ham are among clubs reportedly interested in Brentford star Said Benrahma.
West London Sport last year reported that Aston Villa were keen on the Algerian, who has been superb for the Bees since joining them from Nice in 2018.
Villa later had an approach rejected and it appears that their former Brentford boss Dean Smith remains keen to sign the player.
Reports elsewhere have since claimed that Chelsea want Benrahma and other clubs have also been linked.
And French outlet Foot Mercato have reported that Chelsea, Arsenal and West Ham are all keen to snap him up when the transfer window opens.
Leicester City are also mentioned as a possible destination for Benrahma, who looks certain to play in the Premier League at some stage.
For the time being, though, he seems to be happy at Brentford – who could well be in the top flight next season.
Thomas Frank’s side were in the thick of the promotion race before games were halted because of the coronavirus outbreak.
And boss Frank has no doubt that his star players are focused on the task at hand despite speculation over the futures of the likes of Benrahma and Ollie Watkins.
“They are enjoying themselves,” Frank told West London Sport in February.
“We are in a good place, playing attractive football and they are all in a very good place in terms of their football and their lives here.”
