Three loan signings on the way at QPR?

It could be a busy spell at QPR as they look to bring in loan signings in order to beef up their squad.

West London Sport recently reported that the R’s want Burnley striker Nakhi Wells and are also looking to tie up a deal to bring Israeli forward Tomer Hemed in on loan from Brighton.

And The Sun claim that as well as those two players QPR are looking to snap up Wayne Routledge.

It would mean a return to Loftus Road for the 33-year-old Swansea winger, who previously played for Rangers and also had a spell on loan with them.

QPR chief executive Lee Hoos gave a strong indication after the window for permanent transfers closed on 9 August that the club would certainly be looking to make full use of the loan window.

“I understand their disappointment that we have not added any further players since the arrival of Toni from Union Berlin,” Hoos told the club website.

“However, the early closure of the transfer window this summer significantly changes the landscape and this can be used to our benefit. We are looking to bring loan players in. We can do this until the end of August.

“Clubs who were looking to sell their players on permanent deals will now be looking to loan them out, whereas prior to the window closing this was not an option they were considering.

“We will be looking to add to the squad. We are aware of the areas that need strengthening and we are looking to do that while in keeping with the club’s financial parameters.”
