Mauricio Pochettino insisted Tottenham remain on course for a top-four finish after their defeat at Manchester City.
The Champions League semi-finalists, who are third in the Premier League table, were beaten by Phil Foden’s early goal at the Etihad Stadium.
“To be in the Champions League next season is in our hands,” said the Spurs boss
“I think the next two games, against Brighton and West Ham, are going to be decisive in terms of where we finish.
“Now it’s about being strong and making sure we have the energy to be competitive again.
“The most important thing is to keep fighting and keep working because have a very decisive period.”
