Sky pundit predicts Chelsea will end Liverpool’s 100% record

Charlie Nicholas believes Chelsea will end Liverpool’s perfect start to the Premier League season.

Jurgen Klopp’s side look set for another title challenge, but Frank Lampard’s Chelsea youngsters have looked the part in recent weeks.

Tammy Abraham has been in brilliant goalscoring form and several other Blues players have caught the eye.

And pundit Nicholas believes they can cause Liverpool problems in Sunday’s match at Stamford Bridge.

In his predictions for Sky Sports, Nicholas predicts a 2-2 draw between two sides with attacking ability but potential vulnerabilities at the back.

The former Arsenal striker said: “I think Frank Lampard wants to attack, which opens up the counter-attack scenario for Liverpool. They both got bad results in Europe through the week, they are making mistakes that they didn’t make last season and you can get at their defence.

“Pedro and Willian behind Tammy Abraham is a trio of danger. They need to find the killer pass in this game, which I think they will. Liverpool will pin them in when they can, but it will be an open game of football, which will see Liverpool drop their 100 per cent record.”
