Marko Arnautovic returns for West Ham against Manchester United, but Javier Hernandez misses out against his former club.

Arnautovic has recovered from the knee injury which forced him to sit out the goalless draw with Chelsea last weekend, but fellow forward Hernandez is still sidelined through illness.

Carlos Sanchez suffered a knee injury against Macclesfield in midweek and joins Jack Wilshere, Andy Carroll, Manuel Lanzini and Winston Reid in the treatment room.

Provisional squad: Fabianski, Adrian, Fredericks, Zabaleta, Ogbonna, Diop, Balbuena, Rice, Cresswell, Masuaku, Obiang, Noble, Antonio, Yarmolenko, Snodgrass, Diangana, Anderson, Arnautovic, Perez.

Marcos Rojo and Sergio Romero are the only absentees for United, while Paul Pogba will be among their starters and Marcus Rashford is back in the squad.

Argentina defender Rojo has yet to play this season after returning from the World Cup injured and compatriot Romero serves a one-match ban for his sending off against Derby in the Carabao Cup.

United manager Jose Mourinho confirmed Pogba will start in east London while forward Marcus Rashford returns from a domestic ban.

Provisional squad: De Gea, Grant, Valencia, Dalot, Darmian, Young, Shaw, Smalling, Jones, Bailly, Lindelof, Pogba, Fellaini, Herrera, Mata, Matic, Pereira, Fred, McTominay, Lingard, Lukaku, Martial, Sanchez, Rashford.
