Javier Hernandez has denied reports he has asked to leave West Ham.
The former Manchester United forward, 29, moved to east London from Bayer Leverkusen for £16m during the summer and has since scored four goals for the Hammers.
There has been speculation about his future following David Moyes’ appointment as manager at the London Stadium.
Moyes overlooked Hernandez during his spell as United boss but has recently indicated that the player will be given a chance under him.
Nevertheless, reports in Spain this week have claimed that Hernandez has told West Ham he wants to move on and that he would like to join Mexican side Chivas.
However, Hernandez insisted on Twitter that the reports are “completely false” and that he is “100% committed” to staying at West Ham.
Completamente falso. Estoy 100% comprometido en ayudar a mejorar la situación que estamos viviendo todos en West Ham. Y como siempre lo digo soy #chivadecorazón pero no he pedido salir del West Ham en ningún momento. https://t.co/rzeXeqRdGU
