Charlie Nicholas has tipped West Ham to continue their encouraging season by winning at Everton.
Marco Silva is under pressure at Goodison Park and pundit Nicholas believes there will be no respite for the Everton boss against the Hammers.
In his predictions for Sky Sports, the former Arsenal striker predicted a 2-1 victory for Manuel Pellegrini’s side.
Nicholas said: “This is an interesting game. Marco Silva is still there and has a thumbs up from owners. West Ham are a dangerous side, and I expect them to finish in the top half and Everton to finish in the bottom half.
“Everton fans will think they should beat West Ham, but there is a shrewdness about a Manuel Pellegrini team and they are dangerous up front with Sebastian Haller.
“They will agitate, frustrate and counter-attack for 20 minutes and sit in, which will cause Everton a lot of problems, especially if they don’t score.”
Nicholas also predicted a 1-1 draw for Tottenham against Watford.
“They (Spurs) are all over the place,” he said.
“Christian Eriksen remains unhappy, Dele Alli did not receive an England call-up, with their unpredictable defence topping it off. More woes for Tottenham.”
