David Moyes has agreed a deal to take over as West Ham manager until the end of the season, according to the Daily Mirror.
The Hammers are widely tipped to sack Slaven Bilic, with Moyes strongly linked with the job.
And the Mirror say the former Everton, Manchester United and Sunderland boss has already agreed terms.
The newspaper also say Watford’s Marco Silva and former Manchester City bosses Manuel Pellegrini and Roberto Mancini were sounded out but none were willing to break their contracts mid-season.
The Mirror also say Moyes will get a two-year contract if West Ham perform well under him and that he has been told he can bring in his own staff and players and will have money to spend when the transfer window reopens in January.
News of Moyes’ expected arrival has not done down well with many Hammers fans on Twitter, some of whom have been pleading with the Hammers hierarchy not to appoint the Scot.
