West Ham are eager to seal the signing of Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham, and a bid is likely to arrive in the next few weeks.
That is according to ExWHUemployee, a reliable Twitter source for the east London club, which has long been tipped to make an offer for Abraham during this summer’s transfer window.
The 23-year-old is apparently keen on the move as it would ensure he stays in London.
West Ham manager David Moyes is said to be an admirer of Abraham and believes the England international will be a much needed addition to a squad that struggled in the absence of their attacking focal point Michail Antonio last season.
Abraham struggled for playing time under Blues boss Thomas Tuchel in the second half of last season.
The German preferred Kai Havertz and Timo Werner as his forwards, even using Mason Mount as a false nine rather than select Abraham.
And with the club looking to sign another striker, Abraham’s future at Chelsea has become increasingly uncertain.
He has also been linked with Aston Villa, where he previously spent a season on loan, and Wolves, but reports suggest he would prefer to remain in the capital if he leaves Stamford Bridge.
