West Ham are reportedly ready to swoop for QPR star Ryan Manning.
There have been major doubts over the Irishman’s future for some time as his contract expires next summer and he has not agreed to sign a new deal.
He has not played a Championship match this season, with Rangers boss Mark Warburton choosing to leave him out because of the uncertainty over his future.
And the Daily Star say Hammers boss David Moyes is ready to pick Manning up for £5m.
Moyes is keen to bring in a left-back and it appears that Manning, who can also play in midfield, fits the bill.
But it looks as though Bright Osayi-Samuel will be staying at QPR.
The winger’s contract at Loftus Road also expires next year and, like Manning, he has rejected offers of a new long-term deal.
However, West London Sport reports that progress has been made in negotiations and that Osayi-Samuel is close to signing a new contract.
That would be a huge boost for Warburton – especially given that the club lost Ebere Eze to Crystal Palace in the summer.
Osayi-Samuel has been a key player for Rangers and has been impressive in the opening matches of the Championship season.
