West Ham are to carry out an urgent upgrade of their Rush Green training centre, the Daily Mail reports.

The Mail say new manager Manuel Pellegrini is less than impressed with the facilities and work to improve them will start imminently.

West Ham have planning permission to work on the 29-acre site, where previous manager David Moyes was reportedly shocked to share a changing room with 14 coaches and backroom staff.

Meanwhile, Tottenham are close to agreeing a deal to sign Jack Grealish from Aston Villa, according to the Daily Mirror.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy was reported to be haggling with Villa over the fee for the 22-year-old midfielder.

The Mirror now say the stand-off is close to ending and a deal is in the offing because Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino wants Grealish to join the squad for the club’s US pre-season tour.

New Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri plans to axe Blues midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko, according to the Daily Star.

The Mirror say Chelsea are desperate to beat Liverpool to the signing of Roma keeper Alisson and are willing to offer £70m for the Brazil international.

And Crystal Palace are closing in on the signing of Senegal striker Khouma Babacar from Italian side Sassuolo, also according to the Mirror.
