Arsenal youngsters beat Leicester to continue fine run, West Ham lose at Everton

Robbie Burton’s second-half penalty gave Arsenal’s Under-23 side a 2-1 win at Leicester City and extended their unbeaten run to six matches.

Burton set up a first-half goal for Tobi Omole but the home side were level at the break courtesy of Callum Wright’s equaliser.

Burton re-established the Gunners’ lead by scoring from the spot after Tolaji Bola had been fouled.

Meanwhile, Reece Oxford played for West Ham’s Under-23s in a 2-1 defeat at Everton.

Winger Vernon Parkes but the young Hammers ahead but Everton responded with a goal from Morgan Feeney and Bassala Sambou’s late penalty.

Fulham’s development side lost 5-2 at Newcastle, where Jayden Harris scored both their goals.

Tom Allan put Newcastle ahead and Elias Sørensen doubled their lead before an own goal by Rob Atkinson made it 3-0.

A second-half brace from Harris gave the visitors hope of a comeback but Juanito made it 4-2 and Sørensen got his second goal of the night to round off a resounding Newcastle win.
