The Sun say West Ham boss Slaven Bilic wants to offload Alvaro Arbeloa in January and could also try to get rid of Diafra Sakho.

The Hammers are tipped to try to cut short the loan spells of Simone Zaza and Gokhan Tore, who have failed to impressed since arriving in east London.

And The Sun say former Liverpool right-back Arbeloa, 33, is also not in Bilic’s plans and will be allowed to move on.

A ‘West Ham source’ is quoted as saying: “It’s true that Arbeloa would be allowed to move on, if a club comes in for him.”

Meanwhile, the Telegraph claim Bilic has struck up a friendship with Chelsea boss Antonio Conte that has led to the Croatian enquiring about a number of Blues players, including Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Dominic Solanke.

It is claimed that West Ham are looking to take advantage of this apparent relationship by signing at least one Chelsea player when the transfer window reopens, either on loan or permanently.

The Hammers are also said to be interested in Cesc Fabregas and Chelsea’s back-up goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.

Liverpool’s England striker Daniel Sturridge has also been linked with a potential move to the London Stadium.
