Diafra Sakho was involved in a row with West Ham boss David Moyes over the striker’s non-selection ahead of Tuesday’s Carabao Cup defeat at Arsenal, according to the Daily Mail.

The striker came on as a substitute at the Emirates Stadium, where Moyes’ side lost 1-0.

The Mail say Sakho had challenged Moyes about why the new manager has not been selecting him and that the player was persuaded to take a place on the bench after initially saying he wanted to go home.

Sakho has appeared 14 times as a substitute this season in the Premier League and is yet to start.

The Mail say he believes that is because of a lucrative bonus clause in a contract he signed in the summer that entitles him to a £50,000 bonus whenever he starts a league match, which apparently more than doubles his basic weekly pay.

Meanwhile, Everton boss Sam Allardyce is keen to sign Theo Walcott from Arsenal in January, according to the Daily Mirror.

Walcott, who has 18 months left on his contract, has not started a league game this season and has also been linked with West Ham.

The Mirror say Allardyce is looking to sign Walcott as well as Sevilla’s former Stoke and Blackburn midfielder Steven N’Zonzi.

The Mirror have also picked up reports that Arsenal are considering a £42m bid for PSV Eindhoven forward Hirving Lozano.

Arsenal are dealing with an infestation of mice at the Emirates Stadium, the Mail reports.

And Manchester United are planning a British record £90m move for Chelsea star Eden Hazard, it is claimed.

The Sun say United’s former Blues boss Jose Mourinho is keen to take Hazard to Old Trafford.
