Paper round-up: Mitrovic linked with move, Spurs keeper speculation

West Ham and Crystal Palace are both chasing Newcastle striker Aleksandar Mitrovic, the Daily Star Sunday claim.

The Hammers have been tipped to move for Liverpool’s England striker Daniel Sturridge and have now been linked with Mitrovic after Reds boss Jurgen Klopp insisted Sturridge would be staying at Anfield.

Newcastle would be tempted to accept an offer in the region of £14.5m, the Star say.

Meanwhile, The Sun on Sunday say Tottenham fear keeper Hugo Lloris will leave at the end of the season and that Sunderland’s Jordan Pickford would be the club’s first-choice replacement.

Lloris has yet to sign a new contract at White Hart Lane and there are suggestions he could move on if Spurs do not qualify for the Champions League.

Arsenal want to re-sign Cesc Fabregas, the Sunday Express claim.

The Gunners are supposedly planning to make Chelsea an offer for their former midfielder, who has been linked with a number of European clubs.

The Sunday Mirror say Chelsea are targeting teenage Italian striker Andrea Pinamonti, who is currently with Inter Milan.

Inter are reportedly looking to tie him to a new contract which would include a huge release clause but at the moment, it is claimed, Pinamonti, 17, would cost around £400,000.

Hoffenheim defender Niklas Sule has again been linked with Chelsea, this time by the Daily Star Sunday.

And The Sun on Sunday say Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has given an indication he could rejoin Real Madrid after describing their boss Zinedine Zidane as an “idol”.
