West Ham and Crystal Palace are among clubs being linked with Dundee defender Jack Hendry.

The Daily Mail say the Hammers, Palace, Newcastle and Bournemouth are all showing an interest in the 22-year-old.

All four Premier League clubs are apparently sending scouts to watch Hendry in action against Hibernian on Wednesday night.

Glasgow Rangers and Celtic are also said to be interested in the player. Celtic reportedly had a £500,000 bid for him rejected.

Meanwhile, the Daily Express say West Ham boss David Moyes is likely to prevent Javier Hernandez leaving the club despite the striker being keen to move.

It comes after reports in the 29-year-old’s native Mexico quoted his agent Eduardo Hernandez as saying: “There are a number of clubs interested in his services. Our primary focus is a club in which Chicharito can play the most games possible.

“Javier has asked personally for it. He’s demanded that we look for a club that really needs a player with his characteristics. What he wants is to play.”

And West Ham are considering making a bid for Real Betis midfielder Fabián Ruiz, according to the Daily Telegraph.

Moyes recently watched Fabián in action against Barcelona.
