Paper round-up: Everton to rival West Ham for Wilson, Mirror claim

Everton will rival West Ham for the signing of Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson, the Daily Mirror say.

The newspaper recently claimed that West Ham were planning a move for Wilson, 24, when the transfer window reopens in January.

Now the Mirror say Everton are also interested in Wilson, who signed a new contract earlier this year.

Wilson would cost in excess of £20m, the Mirror say.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have offered Alexis Sanchez a new contract worth £9.3m a year but it is significantly less than he is demanding, the Daily Mail claim.

Sanchez, 27, wants a minimum of £250,000 per week in order to stay at the Emirates Stadium, the Mail say.

Cesc Fabregas could follow Oscar and leave Chelsea for China, again according to the Mail.

Guangzhou Evergrande, who are coached by former Chelsea boss Luiz Felipe Scolari, are apparently interested in signing Fabregas in the summer.

The Times say Oscar will earn £400,000 a week after tax by joining Shanghai SIPG next month.

Blues skipper John Terry could earn up to £12m by joining Shanghai Shenhua, according to The Independent.

And QPR are interested in re-signing veteran defender Clint Hill if he is not offered a new contract by Glasgow Rangers, the Daily Record reckon.
