West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis hopes to sign Tottenham pair Kevin Wimmer and Vincent Janssen today for £30m, according to The Sun.
The Sun say Spurs are ready to sell both players and that Albion are prepared to offer them better deals than other clubs.
Crystal Palace have also been linked with Wimmer.
The Daily Mail say Palace have made a £15m move for the Austrian defender, who has been tipped to leave Spurs this summer.
The Mail say Wimmer is valued at £20m but that Spurs are likely to be willing to sell for £15m plus add-ons.
And Sky say Stoke City manager Mark Hughes is also keen on Wimmer, who has started just 13 Premier League matches since arriving in north London from German club Cologne two years ago.
Speaking at a press conference on Friday, Pulis dismissed suggestions a deal for Wimmer was close.
Pulis said: “Whoever’s telling you we are close is miles away from fact. We have a lot of irons in the fire with a lot of targets.”
Wimmer has made 31 appearances for Tottenham in all competitions and there has been speculation about his future for some time.
He told Austrian media earlier this summer that he was frustrated by his lack of game time at Spurs but would like to stay in the Premier League were he to leave.
