Paper round-up: Spurs linked with Reus

Marco Reus has again been linked with a move to England, with Tottenham now said to be keen on the Germany international.

Borussia Dortmund forward Reus has previously been linked with a number of Premier League clubs, including Chelsea.

He has a year remaining on his contract and the Daily Mirror say Spurs are ready to move for him and that there is also interest from Liverpool.

The Mirror also say Liverpool and Manchester United are monitoring Spurs midfielder Victor Wanyama.

Meanwhile, Hoffenheim’s 30-year-old boss Julian Nagelsmann is the latest manager the Daily Star link with Arsenal amid speculation over Arsene Wenger’s future.

The Daily Telegraph reports that former Barcelona president Joan Laporta believes Arsenal should appoint Thierry Henry as Wenger’s replacement.

West Ham boss David Moyes is preparing a £10m summer bid for Bournemouth’s Harry Arter after having two previous bids for the midfielder turned down, according to the Daily Express.

Chelsea want Frank Lampard to take a first-team coaching role at the club with a view to eventually becoming manager at Stamford Bridge, The Sun say.

The Sun believe Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has been impressed by reports about Lampard’s progress as he studies for his UEFA ‘A’ coaching license and wants him to return.

The Sun also say Chelsea have shelved contract talks with Thibaut Courtois following reports the goalkeeper’s father held an informal meeting with officials from Paris St-Germain.
