Tottenham have again been linked with a move for Everton midfielder Ross Barkley.
The Daily Mirror claim the arrival of Manchester United’s Morgan Schneiderlin and Charlton’s Ademola Lookman at Everton this month may see Barkley pushed down the pecking order at Goodison Park.
And that in turn could reportedly lead Spurs to launch a bid for Barkley in the summer, when he will have just one year left on his deal.
Spurs said to be ready to sell Carroll
Tottenham are prepared to sell midfielder Tom Carroll, according to Sky Sports News HQ, but Swansea are apparently no longer interested.
The 24-year-old has made only three appearances for Spurs this season, despite extending his contract until 2019 last year.
Sky Sports suggest Swansea’s previous manager Bob Bradley had been monitoring Carroll but that interest has cooled since successor Paul Clement took over.
United reportedly want Spurs duo
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho wants to sign Kyle Walker and Danny Rose from Tottenham, The Sun claimed earlier this week.
It comes after Rose, 26, was recently reported to be a target for Manchester City.
The Sun declared that both Walker, also 26, and Rose are wanted by Mourinho in a ‘sensational £60m move’.
Both full-backs signed new five-year contracts at White Hart Lane earlier this season.
