Paper round-up: Walker linked with Barca and speculation over Arsenal duo continues

Barcelona are interested in Tottenham’s Kyle Walker, according to the Evening Standard.

Barca have been tipped to sign a right-back this summer, having failed to adequately replace Dani Alves when he moved to Juventus.

And the Standard say England defender Walker, 26, is on a list of potential targets.

Meanwhile, Everton and Manchester City want to sign Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain from Arsenal, the Daily Mirror say.

City have recently been linked with the England international, whose contract at the Emirates Stadium is due to expire in 2018.

It is claimed that Everton are also keen on the 23-year-old, with the Merseyside club tipped to spend heavily in the summer.

The Mirror also suggest that City boss Pep Guardiola wants to sign him after being impressed by Oxlade-Chamberlain’s display in the Champions League against his Bayern Munich team two-and-a-half years ago.

Speculation also continues over the future of Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez, whose contract expires next year as well.

The Daily Express say AC Milan are keen to sign the Chilean forward this summer.

And Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko is ready to snub interest from Chelsea in favour of a move to Paris St-Germain, the Mirror say.

It comes after Bakayoko suggested that he would welcome a move to PSG, having almost joined them as a schoolboy.

The 22-year-old, who has been touted as a replacement for Oscar at Chelsea, was quoted by French media as saying: “The opportunity to sign for the PSG youth academy presented itself. But my dad and my brother chose Rennes, the best youth academy at the time.

“Not going to PSG hurt me, I even had tears in my eyes.

“So if the opportunity presents itself, I will not refuse a move to PSG. But I am only 22, and I feel very good at Monaco.”
