Paper round-up: Spurs and Arsenal again linked with Maddison

Tottenham and Arsenal continue to be among the Premier League clubs linked with highly-rated Norwich City midfielder James Maddison.

The Daily Telegraph claim Maddison, 21, “is at the centre of a tug of war between six Premier League clubs” ahead of this summer’s transfer window.

Both north London sides are said to be among those six, with the others being Everton, Southampton, Brighton and newly-crowned champions Manchester City.

Maddison is valued at around £25m and Norwich could be tempted to cash in if there is a bidding war, the Telegraph reckon.

The Daily Mirror run a similar story, adding that Maddison wants to play at the highest level and could quadruple his salary if he moves to a top-flight club.

The Sun have picked up on reports in Portugal claiming that Arsenal are keen on Porto’s Andrija Zivkovic.

The Gunners, Tottenham and West Ham are said to have watched Zivkovic in action against Benfica at the weekend.

And Chelsea continue to be linked with Ivory Coast international Jean Michael Seri.

The Daily Mirror claim Chelsea have lined up a £35m bid for the Nice midfielder, who has been linked with a number of Premier League clubs.

Those clubs include Arsenal, who are also said to have shown an interest.
