Paper round-up: Spurs and West Ham linked with Grealish

Tottenham and West Ham are both interested in Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish, The Express say.

Grealish has been tipped to leave Villa, who reportedly want £40m for him.

The Express claim West Ham have already held talks with the Championship club and been put off by the asking price.

Spurs are also said to be reluctant to pay such a large fee, but both London clubs are reported to be monitoring developments.

Meanwhile, there continues to be speculation that Mauricio Pochettino could leave for Real Madrid despite him insisting he is happy at Tottenham, where he recently signed a new contract.

The Daily Mirror have picked up on the Spurs’ boss comments to Spanish media in which he reportedly said he would “have to listen” if Real wanted him.

The Sun say former Paris St-Germain boss Laurent Blanc is in the frame to replace Antonio Conte at Chelsea.

And the Daily Mail say Stoke and England keeper Jack Butland is being lined up as a possible replacement for Thibaut Courtois.

It comes after reports that Chelsea have broken off contract talks with Courtois and that the Belgian, who has been linked with Real Madrid, is set to leave.

Roma’s Brazilian keeper Alisson has also been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.
