Tottenham have been tipped to move for Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha.
The Daily Star say Spurs are ready to offer the Eagles £25m in an attempt to sign him during the January transfer window.
Spurs reportedly tried to sign him during the summer window, apparently offering £15m and then £18m.
The Star say Mauricio Pochettino “refused to deny that a move is in the offing” when he was recently asked about Zaha.
The Tottenham boss said: “I don’t want to speak about the player in another club.
“I like good players and maybe he is a good player. But I don’t like to start focusing on some names. Then you start a rumour.”
The Daily Mirror run a similar story, suggesting Zaha is rated at £30m, and also say new Crystal Palace manager Sam Allardyce wants Jermain Defoe to join him at Selhurst Park.
West Ham are reported to be interested in re-signing the former Hammers striker, who played under Allardyce at Sunderland.
West Ham are said willing to offer £6m but Sunderland boss David Moyes is keen to keep him.
Moyes said: “I don’t think there’s any transfer fee because we know that Jermain’s goals are so priceless to us. I wouldn’t even think about where we’d be without him. His stats for 2016 show he’s been brilliant.
“I’m not saying we’re getting the best out of him because he’s had a great career and he’s scored a lot of goals, but nobody can turn around and say they can see a demise in him. You can only see someone who will keep going.”
