Paper round-up: Speculation over the futures of Snodgrass and Sanchez

Brighton and Sunderland are interested in signing Robert Snodgrass, the Telegraph say.

It follows reports that West Ham boss Slaven Bilic is prepared to offload the Scotland international just six months after he was signed from Hull.

The Hammers are said to be looking for £8m for Snodgrass and the Telegraph say Brighton see him as the ideal signing following their promotion to the Premier League.

Meanwhile, Alexis Sanchez is demanding £400,000 a week to stay at Arsenal, the Daily Mirror claim.

The Chilean’s contract expires next year and there has been speculation that he will be sold unless he agrees to sign a new deal.

The Mirror say he has been offered £275,000 a week by Arsenal but is looking for significantly more.

Sanchez continues to be linked with Manchester City, but Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has insisted the club will not sell to a Premier League rival.

Manchester United are ready to use Wayne Rooney as a makeweight in a move for Romelu Lukaku, again according to the Mirror.

The Mirror say United boss Jose Mourinho “believes Rooney could be the key to prising the Everton striker away from Chelsea’s clutches.”

The Mirror also say Chelsea’s Nathaniel Chalobah is in talks about a permanent move to Watford.

Newcastle want to sign Ruben Loftus-Cheek on loan from Chelsea, the Daily Mail say.

And Chelsea have renewed their interest in Swansea’s Fernando Llorente, according to The Times.
