Paper round-up: Spurs linked with Pereira

Mauricio Pochettino wants Porto right-back Ricardo Pereira to replace Kyle Walker at Tottenham, the Daily Mirror say.

It comes amid reports that Manchester City are looking to tie up a £40m deal to sign Walker.

The Mirror say Spurs boss Pochettino is keen to bring in Pereira, 23, and that the Portugal international is rated at £20m.

Tottenham have made enquiries about Nice midfielder Jean-Michael Seri, according to the Mail.

The 25-year-old Ivory Coast international is said to be of interest to a number of clubs, including Arsenal, and is reported to have a £35m release clause in his contract.

Roma have reportedly had a bid rejected for him, while Barcelona and Chinese club Beijing Guoan are also said to be interested.

Meanwhile, Brighton, Huddersfield and Celtic want Tottenham youngster Josh Onomah, according to The Sun.

Onomah, 20, played a key role in England’s Under-20 World Cup triumph and has been tipped to move on loan next season.

The Sun say Huddersfield are keen to snap him up following their promotion to the Premier League, Brighton boss Chris Hughton hopes to use his connections with his former club Spurs and that Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers can offer Onomah Champions League football.
