Paper round-up: Arsenal tipped to loan out duo

Arsenal will look to loan out teenagers Eddie Nketiah and Reiss Nelson next season, the Daily Mirror say.

Both 18-year-olds have shown promise and Nketiah (pictured) scored twice against Norwich City in the Carabao Cup earlier this season.

The Mirror say Arsenal are keen for both players to pick up first-team experience and will let them leave on loan.

Meanwhile, the Daily Mirror say West Ham have demanded urgent talks with London Mayor Sadiq Khan in the wake of the disturbances at the London Stadium during Saturday’s 3-0 home defeat against Burnley. Fans invaded the pitch amid angry protests against the board.

The Mirror say West Ham are unhappy with the lack of action from the London Stadium operators Khan appointed and that the club want a large police presence for their remaining games.

The Daily Telegraph run a similar story, reporting that West Ham want to take over the stewarding of the ground because they have lost faith in the stadium operators after Saturday’s angry scenes.

The Daily Mail say West Ham fear they will have to play behind closed doors but that captain Mark Noble is highly unlikely to face retrospective action after he clashed with a fan on the pitch.
