Paper round-up: Ozil speculation continues, Arsenal linked with RB Leipzig boss

Mesut Ozil regrets leaving Real Madrid for Arsenal and wants to return to the Bernabeu, Marca claim.

The Spanish newspaper, which is closely linked to Real, claim Ozil and his former team-mate Angel di Maria, now with Paris St-Germain, are both keen to go back to the La Liga club.

There has been speculation over Ozil’s future as he has yet to agree a new contract at Arsenal, where his current deal expires in 2018.

Meanwhile, The Sun say Arsenal have identified RB Leipzig coach Ralph Hasenhuttl as a possible successor to Arsene Wenger.

Gunners boss Wenger’s contract expires at the end of the season and The Sun say that although the club are keen for him to stay, they have been assessing possible replacements.

Some have been contacted to gauge their interest, it is claimed.

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has also been touted as a potential future Arsenal boss.

The Sun have also picked up on reports in Mathieu Debuchy’s native France suggesting that Marseille are interested in signing the Arsenal right-back when the transfer window reopens in January.

France Football reported that Marseille boss Rudi Garcia wants the injury-plagued Debuchy, 31, who was loaned to Bordeaux last season
