The Sun continue to link Tottenham’s Danny Rose with Manchester United.

The newspaper say United are ready to make a £50m bid for the England left-back in January but that it will be a “tough ask” to prise him away from Spurs.

United are banking on Rose wanting the move and pushing to make it happen, The Sun say.

The Sun have also picked up on more reports in Spain claiming that Spurs want Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes.

Meanwhile, Manchester City continue to be linked with Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez.

The Daily Mirror say City offered £60m for the Chilean during the summer but, with his value seemingly falling because he is in the final year of his contract, they will look to sign him in January for £20m.

The Mirror believe Sanchez has made up his mind that he wants to join City, apparently leaving the club in a strong position.

The Mirror also say both Arsenal and Liverpool will move for Monaco midfielder Thomas Lemar next summer.

The Sun have picked up on reports in Italy claiming that Arsenal could make a January move for Napoli defender Nikola Maksimovic.

Chelsea scouts will check on Red Star Belgrade’s Ghana striker Richmond Boakye during next week’s Europa League game against Arsenal, according to the Daily Mail.

And The Sun claim West Ham are trying to sign 17-year-old striker Conor Simpson – dubbed ‘the new Andy Carroll’ – from Hartlepool.
