The Daily Mirror has again tipped Manchester City to make a move for Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has repeatedly insisted that the club will not sell Sanchez, who is in the final year of his contract at the Emirates Stadium.

The Mirror claim City plan to make Arsenal an offer in excess of £50m ahead of this month’s transfer deadline.

It is claimed that City are willing to offer him higher wages than Arsenal and believe they can strike a deal to sign him.

The Sun say Real Madrid’s Marco Asensio has been lined up by Arsenal as a replacement for Sanchez.

Meanwhile, Davinson Sanchez has told Ajax that he wants to be allowed to leave the club and join Tottenham, according to The Independent.

Spurs are in talks with Ajax and hope to tie up a deal to take the Colombian defender to north London.

There were Dutch media reports on Monday that Chelsea had expressed an interest in the player along with Real Madrid.

However, The Independent reports that Sanchez has made it clear to Ajax that he wants to join Spurs.

The Guardian say Ajax are holding out for a fee of close to £36m.

The Mirror say Chelsea boss Antonio Conte will be given £120m to spend before the transfer window closes.

But The Times say Conte is at odds with the Chelsea hierarchy, who are said to be reluctant to agree to his requests to spend money on experienced players with little sell-on value.

And Crystal Palace want Roma goalkeeper Lukasz Skorupski, according to the Daily Telegraph.
