Paper round-up: City now linked with Ake along with Spurs

Manchester City are the latest club to be linked with Nathan Ake, who has recently been linked with Tottenham.

The Sun on Sunday say City will consider making a £40m bid for the Bournemouth defender, joining Spurs and Manchester United in a race to sign him.

There have also been reports that interested clubs would have to wait to see whether Chelsea take up an option to buy back the Dutchman for around £40m – a clause reportedly agreed when they sold Ake to the Cherries.

The Sun on Sunday say City boss Pep Guardiola looked at Ake, 23, in the summer and is again showing an interest.

Meanwhile, Tottenham are lining up a shock move for Blackburn midfielder Bradley Dack, the Sunday Express claim.

The Mail on Sunday reports that Tottenham have extended their stadium loan to £500m to cover the rising costs of the delayed construction.

The Sunday Express reckon Chelsea are ready to give Eden Hazard a new contract worth as much as £350,000 a week.

The Sun on Sunday say Chelsea are desperate for N’Golo Kante to sign a new contract amid apparent interest from Real Madrid.

The Daily Star Sunday say Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic, who has been linked with Chelsea and Spurs, is wanted by Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho.

And Arsenal are again being linked with Brazilian winger Malcom.

The Gunners and Tottenham were both linked with Malcom prior to him joining Barcelona from Bordeaux during the summer.

He has failed to impress at Barca and the Daily Star Sunday have picked up on reports claiming Arsenal are now interested in taking him on loan.
