Sagna reportedly wants West Ham move and Spurs are again linked with Barkley

Bacary Sagna is keen on a move to West Ham, according to The Sun.

Manchester City’s former Arsenal right-back, 34, is said to be eager to return to London.

He will be available on a Bosman free transfer if City boss Pep Guardiola opts not to offer him a new deal when the player’s current contract expires at the end of the season.

The Sun say Hammers boss Slaven Bilic is keen to snap up Sagna, who spent seven years at Arsenal, this summer.

Meanwhile, the Daily Mirror have again linked Tottenham with a move for Everton’s Ross Barkley.

It follows comments from Everton manager Ronald Koeman, who was asked at a press conference about speculation over the England international’s future.

Koeman said: “Like everybody he likes to win titles and play Champions League football.

“But he has still one more year of contract, and we, at Everton, like to keep the best players and he has shown this season he is improving, and different positions for the team. He is doing well.

“I spoke to board about his situation, we like to bring and show the confidence that we have in the player to sign a new contract.

“What we can do is to show the best for him as a platform to grow and to improve as a player and the final decision is always by the player.”
