Idrissa Sylla has been linked with a move to Reading after being left out of QPR’s pre-season trip to Germany.
West London Sport say the Guinea striker has not travelled because of an issue with his work permit.
But Get West London, on the other hand, say Sylla’s future “has been thrown into doubt” after he was not included in the travelling party and that Reading “are rumoured to have expressed an interest.”
Get West London also say Sunderland’s sale of goalkeeper Vito Mannone will increase speculation that Alex Smithies could be on his way to the Wearside club.
QPR keeper Smithies, who signed a new contract earlier this year, has been linked with a number of clubs, including Sunderland.
The Black Cats have sold Mannone to Reading, prompting more speculation that they could move for Smithies.
Get West London suggested earlier this summer that Huddersfield’s promotion to the Premier League could see Smithies return to the Yorkshire club, who sold him to QPR in 2015.
Get West London have also linked QPR with Lausanne-Sport defender Benjamin Kololli.
It is claimed that Rangers scouts attended the Swiss club’s pre-season friendly against Brentford in order to watch Kololli.
Kololli is among a host of players Get West London have linked with QPR so far this summer.
Another is Paris St-Germain midfielder Christopher Nkunku.
Get West London say Rangers “are thought to have expressed an interest” in the 19-year-old Nkunku along with Fulham.
Rangers are also “rumoured to be interested” in West Ham’s 22-year-old midfielder Josh Cullen, Get West London say.
Get West London have previously said that Rangers are “thought to be interested” in Newcastle’s Sammy Ameobi, “rumoured to be interested” in Dijon forward Mamadou Thiam and “rumoured to be interested in making an approach” for Lorient winger Denis Bouanga.
Get West London have also linked with R’s with 41-year-old keeper Shay Given, and linked Conor Washington with a possible move to Birmingham after fans’ website Vital Birmingham City published an article asking whether Washington might be the kind of forward who might succeed at St Andrews.
