Atletico Madrid are interested in signing West Ham youngster Reece Oxford, according to the Daily Telegraph.

The Telegraph say Atletico have been looking at defender Oxford, 19, for some time and feel he could be a worthwhile signing when his loan spell at German club Borussia Mönchengladbach comes to an end.

West Ham apparently value the England Under-19 international at £12m. He is under contract at the London Stadium until 2021.

Chinese club Dalian Yifang are close to signing West Ham defender Jose Fonte for £5m, the Daily Mail reports.

Meanwhile, The Times say Tottenham are willing to sell Toby Alderweireld this summer.

The newspaper say contract talks with the defender have reached a deadlock and that Spurs are prepared to let him go.

Alderweireld is said to be demanding £150,000 a week, with Spurs apparently unwilling to pay the 29-year-old that much.

The Times also say manager Mauricio Pochettino has backed the club’s decision.

However, Spurs are confident Jan Vertonghen will sign a new one-year deal, The Times say.

Manchester United United keeper David De Gea looks set to sign a new contract, meaning Real Madrid are likely to target Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois, The Times also say.

And United’s former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is set to make peace with Blues boss Antonio Conte ahead of Sunday’s game between the two clubs, the Daily Mirror say.
